Overview
SONIMAGE MX1 is a portable point-of-care ultrasound system that carries technology from Konica Minolta’s higher-end SONIMAGE HS1. The L11-3 probe with T2HI tissue harmonic imaging is aimed at superficial work, and Dual Sonic transmits two waveforms depending on focal depth to keep noise down from deep to shallow structures.
A customisable touchscreen holds the five most-used keys, and the Multi Parameter Adjuster changes frequency and trapezoid view together with depth to save keystrokes between scans. The cradle lets staff lift the system off without unplugging power or USB, mounts on a cart by VESA, and charges the battery when the unit is returned. Simple Needle Visualization supports needle-guided procedures.
