Overview
SONIMAGE HS2 is a hand-carried point-of-care ultrasound system for a wide range of applications and patients. Its L18-4 linear probe is built with Konica Minolta’s nanofabrication technology for both high sensitivity and depth. Triad tissue harmonic imaging (T2HI) combined with Dual Sonic suppresses acoustic noise from deep to superficial structures, and iXRET raises resolution and frame rate.
Simple Needle Visualization detects the needle automatically, in-plane and out-of-plane, which suits regional anaesthesia and vascular access. Vascular NAVI automates the set-up for vessel and blood-flow volume measurements, and Auto IMT is included. Eight physical buttons and the touch panel can be customised, the Multi Parameter Adjuster changes frequency and trapezoid view together with depth, and the system takes voice commands, on-screen drawing for teaching, and direct recording to external media.
