Overview
REGIUS Sigma II is Konica Minolta’s entry-model computed radiography reader: a desktop, single-slot unit for small hospitals, clinics and single departments such as emergency rooms. Throughput is configured at 25, 45 or 60 plates per hour, and the reading pixel size can be set to 87.5 or 175 µm for each body part, as on the higher models.
It takes 0.31 m² of bench space, weighs 28 kg and draws 100 VA, which Konica Minolta puts at about a tenth or less of a film processor. It is sold with the ImagePilot console, which adds automatic image processing and mini-PACS viewing and filing.
