Overview
The AeroDR TX m01 is a mobile X-ray unit that adds dynamic digital radiography (DDR) to bedside imaging. It fires a sequence of pulsed exposures, up to 15 frames per second for as long as 20 seconds, so the movement of the lungs and diaphragm can be reviewed in the ICU, ward or theatre without moving the patient. DDR needs an AeroDR 3 1417HD2 or AeroDR 1717HD2 detector.
At 540 mm wide it fits between beds. Cabinets at the front and back hold three detectors and charge them automatically, and the parked arm locks them in. A 19-inch touch monitor on the body and a second touch screen on the tube head let the radiographer set exposures at the patient; the tube head also measures the source-to-subject distance. The four-step telescopic arm reaches 1,220 mm and the column turns through 317°. A touch-sensitive handle releases the brakes, speed is limited when reversing, and an anti-collision sensor is available.
